My workshop is located in a 7m2 shed in the garden, behind my flat. It was a true challenge to fit all those knifemaking tools in there... But I made it work! It's small but very cozy and as my wife says - I have everything at hand!
Everything I create is handmade. It all starts with the design I draw in my sketchbook. Then, I gather all the necessary materials and next the dirty, sometimes very noisy work begins.
I heat treat all my blades first, and after that, I etch them with ideas and ornaments inspired by nature. Then, on goes the handle - one that perfectly fits the hand. This is one of the most sculpturally important parts of the whole process. When I look at the final product - a knife, I feel accomplished and happy.

Mój warsztat znajduje się w ogródku, na tyłach mojego mieszkania. Sporym wyzwaniem było zmieszczenie całego sprzętu knifemakera na 7m2, ale udało się. Pracownia jest mała, ale przytulna i jak mówi moja żona - przynajmniej wszystko mam pod ręką!
Wszystkie prace wykonuję ręcznie - najpierw dużo szkicuję w ulubionym notatniku, potem zbieram potrzebne materiały i wtedy dopiero zaczyna się praca - często głośna i brudna.
Po zahartowaniu noży trawię na nich wzory inspirowane naturą. Kształtowanie rękojeści to bardzo rzeźbiarski proces. Kiedy patrzę na efekt końcowy - gotowy nóż - czuję prawdziwą satysfakcję.
